Roland Soule St. Pierre Jr.

Roland St. Pierre died on 5 November 2006 in Aurora, Illinois and is buried in Lincoln Memorial Park. He is survived by his son John P. St. Pierre. Roland was born on 22 October 1931 in Wilkensburg, Pennsylvania. His first submarine was the USS Tiru SS-416, reporting aboard in February 1951 as a Seaman from Submarine Squadron One.  He served aboard Tiru  until his transfer to the USS Scabbardfish SS-397 in May 1952. He later served on the USS Greenlet ASR-10. Roland was a member of VFW Post 7452 and Moose Lodge 400 in Aurora.
