Allan F. Simmons, Torpedoman, died on 13 April 2018 at the age of 74 in Burleson, Texas. He is survived by his wife Bonnie. "Easy Al" reported aboard the USS Tiru SS416 in February 1963 from Subschool as a SN, qualified in submarines in October 1963, promoted to TM3 in November 1963 and was transferred from Tiru in October 1964 to ASW School. He served 13 years in the US Navy. Allan also served on USS Trout SS556. During his Naval service, he received the following awards:
