Jimmie L. Peterson died on 25 April 2003 in Hastings, Minnesota and was interned at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Jimmie was born 14 August 1944 in Chicago, Illinois and was married to Therese Soszynski on 29 July 1972. He served 10 years in the US Navy and was a Radioman, 2nd Class Petty Officer on the submarine USS Tiru (SS416) from March 1963 until August 1965. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Vietnam).
