William Frank Nestman

William (JoJo) Nestman died on 27 March 2006 in Fairhope, Alabama, and is survived by his wife Edna Rogene Nestman. He retired from the Submarine Force after 20 years of service. William reported aboard the USS Tiru SS416 in March 1955 as a First Class GunnersMate from the USS Greenlet ASR10, completing a western pacific patrol which included crossing the equator both surfaced and submerged. He was transfered from Tiru in November 1955. After his Naval career he worked at the Diamond Shamrock Corporation until his second retirement.
