Thomas Joseph McAuliffe

Commander Thomas J. McAuliffe, USN (ret), a resident of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, died on 3 April 2004 at the age of 61. Burial was at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. He was transferred from Submarine School, New London, to the USS Tiru SS416 as a Seaman Apprentice on 4 March 1964. After 3 years on TIRU he was transferred as a TM2 (SS) to the USS Quillback SS424 on 6 June 67. CDR McAuliffe was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was born in New York.
