Frank C. Kezele

Commissaryman Frank C. Kezele, USN (ret), a resident of San Diego, California, died on 7 June 2005 at the age of 89. Burial was at the El Camino Memorial Park, San Diego. He reported to the USS Tiru SS416 as a CS1 on 28 January 1954 from Submarine Squadron 7 and was transferred to Submarine Squadron 1 on 23 March 1954.  Petty Office Kezele was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was born on 17 October 1915 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and raised in Ohio. CS Kezele enlisted in the Navy at age 17 and retired in 1956.  He also served on the USS Arizona BB39 prior to WWII.
