Arthur Lee Jones, Jr

Chief Engineman (SS) Jones of Vancouver, Washington, died on 3 June 2018. Chief Jones enlisted in the US Navy in 1940 and retired in 1966. During World War II he made several war patrols, qualifying in submarines in 1944. He served aboard the USS Tiru SS416 from 1946 to 1947 (plankowner). He also served on the USS Sawfish, USS Remora, USS Capitaine, USS Sea Dog, USS Cabezon, USS Segundo, USS Ronquil, and USS Tunny.
