Robert J. Hawkey

Robert J. Hawkey was born on 27 March 1925 and died on 30 July 2000 in Washington State. He is survived by his wife Jimmie Hawkey. Robert reported aboard the USS Tiru SS416 in September 1948 as a First Class Torpedoman and was transferred from Tiru in October 1949. He qualified in submarines on the USS Parche SS384 in 1946. Robert also served on the USS Pomfret SS391 and the USS Plaice SS390.
