John Paul Francis

Commander John Paul Francis died on Saturday 10 January 2004 in Southern California. He was survived by his wife Mary F. Francis. Commander Francis was a class of 1951 graduate of the US Naval Academy and served as a Lieutenant (junior grade) on the USS Tiru SS416 in the mid 1950's. Commander Francis entered the Navy in August 1947 and retired in July 1977. He was born in Minnesota on 16 September 1928.
