EMC Charles A. Foskett, Jr. USN (ret) of Springville, California, died on
7 February 2009 at the age
of 85. He will be buried at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon,
California on 13 February 2009. Chief Foskett served on USS Tiru (SS416) from 1 March 1957 through 19 June 1960 as a Chief Electrician Mate. He retired from the Navy after serving in the submarine force for 27 years.
