Chuck Coker, died on 7 May 2009 at his home in Suffolk, Virginia, at the age
of 55. Chuck was
born in San Antonio, Texas and spent most of his youth in Graceville, Florida.
Chuck served as a Torpedoman 2nd Class (SS) on the USS Tiru SS416 from March 1972 until June 1975 just before decommissioning. Chuck was very active and supportive of the USS Tiru SS416 Association. He and his wife Belinda was host for Tiru's 2007 Reunion in Norfolk, Virginia. After leaving the Navy, Chuck was involved with submarine support companies and was co-owner of C & B Technologies at his death.
