Orren S. Bourke

Petty Officer Orren S. Bourke, USN (ret), died on 10 March 1991 at the age of 64. He reported to the USS Tiru SS416, undergoing construction, as a QM3 in 1948 and was transferred on 23 July 1949. Petty Officer Bourke was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He was born on 27 December 1926 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Petty Officer Bourke enlisted in the Navy in July 1943 and retired in March 1968.
