Ervin F. Baranowski

Chief Quartermaster Ervin F. Baranowski died on 9 July 1975 in Macomb, Michigan. He served as a Quartermaster First Class on USS Tiru SS416 from October 1960 through June 1961 (QMC Baranowski was TAD to the USS Pickerel SS524 for most of this period). Chief Baranowski enlisted in the US Navy in August 1942 and retired in August 1964. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Chief Baranowski was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on 30 September 1913.
