Joseph Francis Acosta

EMC Joseph F. Acosta, USN (ret), died in January 1983. He served on Tiru from August 1950 to November 1950; transferring to the USS Lionfish SS298. Chief Acosta served in the Navy from October 1937 to May 1967 and was a World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veteran. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 28 August 1918.
