Nicholas J. Ackerman, Jr.

Nicholas Ackerman died on 24 May 2001 in Michigan and was interned at the Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, Michigan. He served as a Seaman on Tiru from November 1959 to March 1962, qualifying in submarines on 28 July 1960. Nicolas later retired from the Detroit Fire Department.
