Commander Thomas G. Warburton, US Navy (ret)

Commander Warburton was born in California and graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles where he was commissioned through the NROTC program in 1955. He served in the destroyer Bradford and in the submarines Rasher, Pomfret, Sirago, and Cubera. Commander Warburton graduated from the Naval Intelligence school and served on the staff of CINCLANT and SUBLANT in Norfolk, Virginia. He relieved as the Commanding Officer of the USS Tiru SS416 on 10 September 1968 in Subic Bay P.I. After leaving Tiru on 4 September 1970, his next tour of duty was with the Australian Joint Anti-Submarine School, Nowra, Australia.
