Local Interest?  The local website for the Manitowoc area is www.manitowoc.org/tourism.htm For those that might be interested taking a drive up the Wisconsin side of the lake to see some of the lighthouses or other points of interest. www.doorcounty.com

For those are heading east, who would like to get their sea legs again, can take the SS Badger. The Badger is a Lake Michigan car-ferry. She's 410' long and can carry 620 passengers and 180 vehicles. She travels from Manitowoc, WI to Ludington, MI. The website for the SS Badger is www.ssbadger.com The trip on the car-ferry takes about four hours for the crossing and it is a bit pricey but for a one time shot, it's worth the price.

There is charterboat fishing, golf and many more activities centered around our Manitowoc location. You might want to take a trip up to Green Bay and tour Lambeau Field and Stadium and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.

Near Museum?  Cooks Corner calls itself the world's largest cooking store and it's about a block past the museum. Check it out at www.cookscorner.com.
